The apps are in beta. We are releasing them to a small group of early users before a public store release. During the beta, you install the Android apps directly from medaccess.shineltd.org<\/a>. An iOS version is planned. Meanwhile, the facility directory on the website is open to everyone.<\/p>\n
Why the MedAccess pilot matters<\/h2>\n
Finding the right facility, knowing whether a specialist is available and paying for care are common barriers to treatment in Cameroon. The MedAccess pilot addresses all three in one place. Moreover, because MedAccess is part of SHINE, what the platform learns becomes a research question for Sintieh Research Academy. Aggregate statistics are available to researchers on request.<\/p>\n
