One-to-one research mentorship

About research mentorship at SRA
Research mentorship at Sintieh Research Academy pairs a clinician or early-career researcher with an experienced mentor for twelve months, remotely. The goal is a published paper. We fix milestones at the start: protocol, ethics approval, data collection, analysis, manuscript and submission. Weekly check-ins keep the work moving. In addition, a systematic review track offers a sixteen-week sprint.
What research mentorship expects
Mentees commit five to eight hours a week and meet milestones. They follow the ICMJE authorship and integrity standards. Afterwards, they mentor at least two new mentees. In return they receive structured guidance, analysis tools and support with journal submission.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis through sra.shineltd.org. Graduates appear among the authors in our publications library.

A note on our standards
First, every study has a written protocol and ethical approval before data collection. Second, we report results to the partner as well as to a journal. Third, testimonials appear only with the person’s consent. As a result, partners can rely on what SHINE publishes, and readers can check every claim against its source.

We answer enquiries within two working days. Discovery calls take fifteen to thirty minutes, and a scoped proposal follows within five.
